In Search Of GOD

This artcile was found in my archive written almost 7 years back. But the words still holds true every bit:

The article, I am going to write is about the thoughts and conclusions that had been disturbing my mind since long. Whenever, I tried to discuss it with my mum, she scolded me and said to concentrate on my studies. But that too did not stop me thinking and hold my pen to write it-----
GOD IS EVERYWHERE!, we heard this so many times since childhood. But if it’s really true then I wonder what some of our great saints were searching for their whole life, sacrificing every comforts of life and roaming in forests..?
Gautama Buddha sacrificed all the luxuries and suffered every pain to know this truth. Finally when he got it, he spread this truth with all humanity and loves to every person on earth. But today his followers (who are quite rich) make offerings of gold and money in his temple, the very things he denounced in his life! Does that really mean anything to him?
The real light: Knowledge and wisdom, which he achieved, cannot be gained by everyone, who just follows him. Well let’s leave it here because it’s beyond a young engineering student’s technical brain!
But the whole truth is that we have to find god at our own individually. It is not the responsibility of any one man on earth to give his life to enlighten our souls.
God cannot be found in temples, mosques, churches or gurudwaras. It is a light beyond any religion and casts.
Fighting for place to build temple or mosque and killing thousands of innocent people without any reason goes
Against teachings by any religion. Even if a temple or mosque is build on such disputed sites, would the followers ever get the blessings of GOD?
God does not reward or punish. He has given us the power to reward or punish you by the use or misuse of our own reason and will power. “If you transgress the laws of health, prosperity and wisdom, you must inevitably suffer from sickness, poverty and ignorance”-truly said by Paramhansa Yoganad.
God is in humanity, in love, in smile, in forgiveness. He is really everywhere! We just have to choose a way out to get him. He is within us. He is here to enlighten our soul!
If we find him, our life will be no less than a heaven: Peaceful and comfortable.
